The Lizzie Regency Bodiced Petticoat is  designed to be worn with any of our Regency gowns. It is a sleeveless style and features a front drawstring opening. The skirt lightly flares out and has a pleated hem very typical of period fashions.
 
The skirt and bodice panels are all French seamed for a neat finish, with machine finishing to neckline and and armholes.
 
The petticoat can be ordered in a range of colours to create a striking contrast underneath semi sheer muslin gowns that were the height of fashion during the Napoleonic era.
 
Our 100% cotton lawn is the perfect, lightweight, breathable and washable option that should be a staple of your historical wardrobe.
 
The petticoat is shown over chemise and short stays which may be visible in the photos. 
 
MADE TO MEASUREMENTS
Not everyone fits standard sizing so I make everything to the measurements you provide. This means lengths are just so and widths are just right. For some items like skirts I will only need a few basic measurements, but complicated items like gowns will require you to fill out a measurement chart. Once you have placed your order,  I will send my measurement chart and instructions PDF in a message, or create an account to immediately access your online measurement chart. As a custom piece this item is professionally handmade at my Lincolnshire, UK studio. Please see the delivery section for details of my current schedule, but it is going to be around 8 weeks plus shipping time.
